# 入學手續概論
> 收到錄取至正式入學前要上網辦理數項手續，學校列有一份[詳盡的清單](https://gradadmissions.stanford.edu/admitted-students)，照著完成即可。
主要項目包括：\
1\. **申請 SUNet ID**：這是你在 Stanford 的帳號，日後登入學校各種網路服務都會用到，也會是你的學校 email 帳號。一般都使用自己的英文姓名（例：Yuan-Tseh Lee → ytlee），帳號一旦決定就不能更改，建議不要取太奇怪的。\
2\. **申請 I-20/DS-2019**：國際學生申請美國簽證需要學校核發的 I-20（F 簽證）或DS-2019（J 簽證）。申請只須下載財力證明表格，填妥傳真給學校即可。可將文件掃描後以網路傳真（如 [faxzero](http://faxzero.com/)）送出，省下跨國傳真費用。\
3\. **學生證**：可以先把照片寄給學校，到校後便能直接領取學生證；也可以來了當場辦理（詳見[領學生證](https://uit.stanford.edu/service/campuscard/cardoffice)）。\
4\. **申請宿舍**：Stanford 宿舍品質和價格都算合理，第一年先住宿舍可省去找房子的困擾。住宿透過 [Axess](http://axess.sahr.stanford.edu) 賬戶申請，注意deadline ，有許多社區及房型（詳見 宿舍房型介紹）可排志願選擇。若有認識的新生想當室友一起住，可以組成 group 填入相同的志願序一起申請。如果計劃在宿舍住到畢業，沒有之後自己找房子搬至校外的打算，則應選擇 open all year round 的宿舍，才能在每年五月前申請續住。只開放 academic year 的宿舍無法續約！選填時要特別注意。一年級新生具有較優先的分發順位，且只要在 deadline 前送出申請，並勾選願意接受任何分發（如果所有志願都分發不上，學校還是會想辦法給你別的宿舍），新生便能保有 guaranteed housing，一定會有宿舍可住。不過校內宿舍空間有限，供不應求，若第一輪 Lottery Round 運氣不好抽到太大的 lottery number 便有可能完全得不到分發。此時不必灰心，Stanford 另租下了許多學校外圍的高級社區，用校內宿舍價轉租給第一輪未得分發的新生，以供應龐大的宿舍需求。從第二輪 Waitinglist Round 起，這些豪華寬敞、設施豐富的校外宿舍會加入成為新選項，建議可從離校園最近的社區開始排志願（如西側的 Oak Creek 和 Sharon Green）。注意校外宿舍通常都無法續約！若二年級（及以後）仍希望住學校宿舍，則必須申請改分發，參加 Continuous Reassignment Round，當校內宿舍出現空位時（例如有人放棄或畢業離開）便可依序遞補。Reassignment Round 的分發順序由送出申請的時間決定，越早送者順位越前面！有意爭取改分發的新生務必及早申請（當第二輪結束，確定自己被分發到校外、或僅開放 academic year 的社區時，就可立刻申請）。住校外社區的學生在 Reassignment Round 擁有較優先的分發順位。\
5\. **疫苗接種記錄**：學校要求新生上網填寫過往的疫苗接種記錄，詳見[入學健康需求-疫苗＆TB](/student-hand-book/01-chu-guo-qian/ru-xue-jian-kang-xu-qiu-yi-miao-tb.md)。\
6\. **選課**：有時間的話可在來美之前先選課，不然剛到美國很忙碌，比較沒時間好好研究。可在 [Stanford Navigator](https://navigator.stanford.edu/classes?classes%5BrefinementList%5D%5BtermOffered%5D%5B0%5D=Autumn%202025) 網站查到課程時間、簡介等資訊，課程評價與討論可以參考 [Carta](https://carta.stanford.edu/) 或是 [OnCourse](https://oncourse.college/)，不僅查得到課程時間、簡介、評價、討論，連學生每週平均花的時數與給分比例都有詳細列舉。選課透過 Axess 網站進行，選課是採先搶先贏，所以要注意每次選課的時間（每個人選課的時間會不一樣，所以如果被分到晚一點的時間有些課就選不到了，這就是運氣了），另外在每次選課前要確認Axess上的Holds有沒有都解決掉，Holds上的事項沒解決會選不了課，要多加注意。
Stanford 為 quarter 制，一學年分為 4 個 quarter，2025–2026 學年度各quarter 起訖時間如下。學校網站上有[行事曆](https://studentservices.stanford.edu/future-academic-calendars)，請特別注意選課、加退選時程！
* Autumn 2025-26: September 22 and December 12
* Winter 2025-26: January 5 and March 20
* Spring 2025-26: March 30 and June 10
